Maxx was my very first rescue pup. When I saw this wiggly little puppy trying to climb out of the fenced in area of the puppy room at the shelter, I knew I had to introduce myself. I scooped him up and he began shaking, I put him down and again his body was wiggly and tail was wagging. I scooped him up again and the nervous shaking began again....I knew immediately that I needed to save this boy. He fell asleep in my arms while waiting for the adoption process; that's when my heart melted and we were instantly connected.
